We are a family run friendly group of outdoor lovers based just a short train ride from London. Situated in Faversham, just outside Canterbury. our aim is to put smiles on peoples faces whilst building great memories and meeting amazing people.
Boots On Adventures started in 2019 and has grown ever since to provide a great variety of events for the outdoors lover. We believe that we run and organise the best walks in Kent through the Kent Walking Group which we organise.
We pride ourselves on providing great value walks, social events and short breaks aimed at anyone with a love of the outdoors,.
Meet The team
Ian Henderson
Hi I am Ian. I co-Founded Boots On Adventures with my wife Erika in 2019, but have been running similar groups all my life.
I am an experienced and qualified walk leader, North Downs Way Ambassador, ex-scout leader as well as a forager and camping enthusiast.
I enjoy runing many of the Boots On Adventures walks, weekend breaks and social events throughout the year.

Erika Henderson
Hello, I am Erika. Co-founder of Boots On Adventures. I run many of the events alongside my husband Ian Henderson, but you will also find me working on the admin and organisation side.
I enjoy the outdoors and exploring Kent with the group. But I am as much at home with a cup of coffee planning the walks, managing the social media and replying your lovely emails.
Ben Crozier
I am Ben I run historical walks for BOA. I am keen walker and became a North Downs Ambassador a year or so ago so I could share my love of the Kentish countryside with other people. When I am not doing that, you will find me teaching History. I also have a small youtube channel which is called Crozieronstuff which features my Kentish Tales and Tales of Kent. Rachel Stockey
Hi, I’m Rachel, a hike leader with Boots On Adventures. My love for the outdoors started in my teenage years with the Girl Guides, and since then, I’ve never looked back. Before joining Boots On Adventures, I worked with the Scouts, leading large groups on international camping expeditions—an experience that deepened my passion for adventure and group leadership.
